Taman Gang restaurant calls in administrators to arrange sale

Pan-Asian restaurant Taman Gang has appointed administrators to oversee the sale of the business following its cash-flow difficulties.

The restaurant experienced financial problems after its original fit-out exceeded budgets and completion was delayed, according to the newly appointed joint administrators, Paul Clark and Jason Godefroy,

The partners from Menzies Corporate Restructuring hope to continue to trade the West End-based business in the short term with the full complement of staff, and to sell it as a going concern.

Clark said: "We hope that the business will be sold quickly. It has an excellent reputation for its food, service and ambience and has an established and very mixed client base, from business directors to celebrities."
