Caterers can now filter and bottle their own water in-house thanks to the Table Water Bottling System devised by Vivreau to reduce waste packaging and the cost of buying in pre-bottled mineral waters.
It is based around a Linkline system that pipes filtered and sterilised water to an entire building from one compact unit. The compact units can be freestanding, counter-top or under-counter, and include the VR1900 (which will deliver still, sparkling and/or hot water) and the VR2000, which additionally supplies chilled water.
A smaller, counter-top or bar-top unit will also deal with flavoured water.
The system includes a bottler which sterilises the branded, reusable glass bottles that come in the three sizes of 500ml, 700ml and 1 litre.
