Four new summer desserts from Brakes focus on chocolate for the grown-ups and toyed-up ice-creams for the kids.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie is a rich chocolate biscuit base topped with a peanut butter and caramel filling and an additional layer of sour cream cheesecake decorated with chocolate sauce, roasted peanuts and chocolate marble curls.

Dark Chocolate and Macadamia New York Style Cheesecake tops a nut and bourbon biscuit base with a dark chocolate baked cheesecake made from full-fat soft cheese. Both desserts are sold as frozen cakes precut into 14 portions.

Children can opt for Bobby Bear - a vanilla-flavoured ice-cream in a ready-to-serve plastic bear that can be taken home afterwards as a toy - or Crazy Zoo Ice Cream, which comes in a reusable plastic cup filled with vanilla ice-cream topped with toffee sauce with an accompanying novelty chocolate egg, toy and stickers. The children's ice-creams come in frozen packs of 12 x 70ml servings.
