Kaiserdom Bavarian beers from Morgenrot

Wine and beer importer Morgenrot has expanded its world beer portfolio with the Kaiserdom range from Germany's brewing heartland in the Bavarian city of Bamberg.

The Kaiserdom brewery, which was founded in 1718 and has been run by the Womer family since 1919, still adheres to the Bamberg purity law, decreed in 1489, which states that a beer must contain nothing but hops, malt and water. This fidelity to tradition confers heritage, authenticity and superior taste on the brand.

The four Kaiserdom beers include a classic crisp, hoppy pilsener; a malty, blonde Munich-style Helles beer; a naturally cloudy wheat beer; and a rich, dark, aromatic Dunkel lager. All have an abv of 4.7% except for the pilsener, which is 4.3% in draught form and 4.8% bottled.
