Kenco backs Macmillan Cancer Support at World's Biggest Coffee Morning
Kenco Professional has joined forces with Macmillan Cancer Support for the third year running to be the official coffee partner of Macmillan's flagship fundraiser, the World's Biggest Coffee Morning 2012.
Whether at work or with friends and family around the kitchen table, anyone can host a coffee morning to help Macmillan continue to provide vital support services that help make a real difference to the lives of people affected by cancer.
The World's Biggest Coffee Morning officially falls on Friday 28 September, but can take place whenever suits. Kenco hopes to build on the £120,000 it helped raise last year, which was enough to pay for a Macmillan nurse for more than two years or to fund one of Macmillan's new community-based rehabilitation support teams.
Alternatively, £25 could pay for a Macmillan nurse for an hour, £70 could help run a large Macmillan information and support centre for an hour and £333 could pay for a Macmillan grant that helps a family affected by cancer take a holiday and enjoy precious time together.
