A revised recipe that contains more meat and lower levels of fat and salt makes Snowbird's Thai Chicken Balls as suitable for children as for adults.
They are made from 73% chicken (half breast and half thigh meat) which is flavoured with fresh ginger, chilli, coriander, onions and selected spices. The chicken balls are steamed and roasted in a factory combi oven, flash fried to produce the golden-brown finish and then individually quick-frozen.
Caterers simply need to microwave or oven-bake the balls. Each weighing between 20g and 25g, the Thai Chicken Balls are supplied in 4kg packs.
