M&J Seafood awarded SRA Approved Supplier status

M&J Seafood has been awarded SRA Approved Supplier Status, which demonstrates to chefs and restaurateurs that it is committed to sustainable practices.

Restaurants are recognised as one, two or three-star sustainability champions and to get rated they are examined in 14 key focus points. Rating is carried out online and overseen by expert SRA assessors.

A similar process is used for SRA Recommended Supplier status with suppliers subjected to a rigorous sustainability audit with detailed evidence required to support their answers across three main sustainability categories - sourcing, environment and society.

M&J Seafood offers a range of high quality fish and seafood products as well as advice and support, including its Safely Sourced Seafood List (SSSL).
