Draft House pub group lost £2.4m in year before sale

Draft House pub group recorded pre-tax losses of £2.4m a year before its sale to BrewDog.

Documents filed with Companies House show turnover at the 14-venue strong group was £11.2m in the 12 months to 29 October 2017, up from £7.8m the previous year.

Within the documents, the pre-tax losses are attributed to exceptional costs including the acquisition of the four-venue strong Grand Union pub group.

Draft House launched its first site in 2009 in London's Battersea. It was acquired by BrewDog in March.
