HIT launches 2007 scholarship call

HIT Scotland has launched its search for recipients of its 2007 career development scholarships.

The charity is looking for individuals already working in the Scottish hospitality industry, or nearing completion of a further or higher education course, that will benefit from the experiences the programme provides.

On offer are working trips to the Disney Institute in Florida and Duabi, as well as craft courses and the chance to work at the country's most prestigious establishments, learning directly from the experts.

HIT describes the purpose of the scholarship programme as a way of recognising individuals that stand head and shoulders above their peer group.

Closing date for applications is 5 January.
