The company also cited a client retention level of 99%, after enacting a brand review to consolidate all its brands under the Levy Restaurants umbrella, and more widely promote its values and approach. These include putting the guest first, creating a good atmosphere, and being "nice people".

Its brands include Keith Prowse, Lime Venue Portfolio, Payne + Gunter, and Leith's.

Similarly, the past 12 months have seen contract extensions with London's Somerset House, the Kia Oval, and Chelsea Football club, as well as new refurbishments, openings or extensions at Clydebuilt Bar & Kitchen in the SECC in Glasgow; the Queen Elizabeth II Centre; the O2; the Twickenham Stadium; Olympia London; and the Pennethorne Café Bar (in Somerset House).

The Twickenham stadium contract alone was worth £300m, while the Somerset House extension was worth £90m. It also won a contract extension with Henley Festival worth £4m, in April.

Staff-wise, Jonathan Davies was appointed sales director within the senior management team, while Megan Caulkett, Levy general manager for Earls Court & Olympia, was awarded an Acorn Award from The Caterer in June.

The company also invested in its Levy Restaurants UK's Thousand Detail Dining programme and spent over £300,000 on its general managers' training Management Academy, online induction, and personal development programmes.

Over 2015 the firm is expecting to work on high-profile events such as the Ashes, the Championships at Wimbledon, and the Investec Derby Festival at Epsom Downs Racecourse.

Colin Bailey, managing director for Levy Restaurants UK, said: "Our purpose is to create legendary experiences for all our customers through powerful partnerships with our clients. We have taken our focus on the guest, a restaurateur's mindset and entrepreneurial spirit, and have added local expertise and passion for British food and hospitality."

Its other UK contracts include Earls Court, Bristol Zoo Gardens, Leeds United FC, Hatfield House, Glyndebourne and Salisbury Cathedral.

Levy Restaurants UK is the sister company to the US-based Levy Restaurants, whose contracts include high-profile events such as the Super Bowl, and the Grammy awards.
