Returning to work

Question

"Fourteen years ago I left my position in a contract catering company to start a family. I worked there for 10 years and for the last three years I was area manager. I would now like to return to work on a part-time basis and feel that I have much to offer. I am educated to degree level and live just west of London."

!
"It would be a tragedy if your 10 years' experience and university education went to waste. If you are really keen to return to work part time, you should compose a letter setting out what you have to offer and what contributions you could make. Back this up with a CV outlining your experiences and achievements, and send this to both large and small contract caterers. You may be pleasantly surprised at the responses you receive."
