British Best Roast Dinner returns
Britain's Best Roast Dinner is back with changes to the competition that will see regional winners and an overall winner for 2016.
The Best British Roast Dinner competition is part of British Roast Dinner Week sponsored by Colman's and supported by Knorr and is organised to inspire pubs to serve the UK's favourite pub meal every day of the week.
Each of the regional winners (South England, North England, Midlands, Wales and Scotland) will receive £2,500 of promotion with the exception of the national winner, who will receive £10,000 of promotional support and the prestigious title of Best British Roast Dinner.
General manager of current title holder the Larwood and Voce, Dan Cramp, said: "Winning Best British Roast Dinner has done wonders for us. Before we were shortlisted, we averaged about 170 covers on a Sunday. We now have over 270 covers Sunday after Sunday."
British Roast Dinner Week 2016 is from 26 September to 2 October and the competition is now open. To enter visit www.britishroastdinnerweek.co.uk and register before 20 September.
