Alan Beddie made managing director in Wilson Vale reshuffle
Alan Beddie has been made managing director of Wilson Vale as part of a reshuffle of the caterer's client services team.
His promotion from operations director is one of a number of changes in the business, which is predicting an annual turnover of £26m for 2017.
David Anderson will take on the operations director role vacated by Beddie, while Phil Hindmarch is promoted from area manager to take on a new role as general manager.
Wilson Vale chef managers, James Wood and Chris Hodges, have been promoted to area management roles. Meanwhile, Matthew Kinnes has joined the business having worked in operations in a number of hotels.
Wilson Vale co-founder Andrew Wilson said that the changes were part of a strategic investment in the operations team.
He added: "Since we started the company in 2002, we have continued to invest in the right people and structures ahead of time to ensure consistency of service, quality and support to our clients throughout our growth.
"What is particularly pleasing is that four of the five new positions are internal promotions so this investment is as much about rewarding talent as it is about maintaining high standards."
Wilson Vale now employs 700 people and has a portfolio of 95 clients. The company has begun negotiations with a developer to take on a new purpose built office in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, which it hopes to move into in the first quarter of 2018.
