Top industry figures lined up for Ladies of Restaurants discussion on guilt

Ladies of Restaurants (LOR), the London-based collective of women who work in hospitality, is to host a night in conversation with top industry professionals at the Our/London distillery next month.

The event, on 15 May, will be hosted by Brogan Driscoll, the Huffington Post UK’s lifestyle editor. She will speak on the subject of guilt and how it affects women in the restaurant industry with Chantelle Nicholson (group operations director at Marcus Wareing Restaurants), Maxine Thompson (the founder of chefwear brand Polka Pants) and restaurant consultant Sofia Franc (formerly of Petersham Nursery, Spring and the Square).

LOR was launched in 2016 to help women who work in hospitality meet other women for support, advice or to socialise. The collective, which is run by Natalia Ribbe-Szrok (Eighty Six List), Grace Willis (Spring) and Libby Andrews (Pho), now has more than 300 members from all areas of the industry, including front of house, back of house, marketing, PR and wine.

Tickets cost £20 and can be purchased here.
