Grillstock barbecue restaurants in administration

American-style barbecue restaurant brand Grillstock has fallen into administration.

Gareth Roberts and Paul Ellison of KRE Corporate Recovery have been appointed administrators and are offering the business and assets for sale on a going concern basis.

Established in 2010, Grillstock has four restaurants in Bristol, Bath, Leicester and east London, plus a market stall in Bristol. All restaurants remain open and no redundancies have been made while the administrator searches for a buyer. The company's turnover in the year to 30 November 2016 was £3.1m, and £1.8m in the nine months to 31 August 2017.

It is anticipated a sale will be achieved within the next 2-3 weeks.
