AiP wins £300,000 contract extension at Lawrence Sheriff grammar school in Rugby
School food caterer Alliance in Partnership (AiP) has won a two-year contract extension at Lawrence Sheriff selective boys' grammar school in Rugby, worth £300,000.
AiP's original deal at the 130-year-old school was for three years. It will continue to deliver a school meals service to over 850 pupils aged 11-18.
Head teacher Peter Kent said the school had recently achieved the Investor in People Gold Standard and that he was looking forward to working with AiP towards a common goal of the health and welfare of the pupils.
A five-week holiday cooking course, with ingredients provided by AiP, began at Lawrence Sheriff last month - an initiative that managing director David Weller said the caterer relished.
"We are really pleased to have retained the contract with Lawrence Sheriff and have new menu ideas and special celebratory food days planned to complement the curriculum," he added.
AiP, which has a contract portfolio of more than 150 schools, said it had reached an all-time high turnover of £13m.
