Charlton House adds BaxterStorey site to growing group contract
Charlton House has extended its six-strong group contract with Steria and has today taken over an additional site from incumbent caterer BaxterStorey.
The independent caterer won its first contract with the IT firm in July 2000, with the business gradually being extended to include other sites in Wakefield, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Manchester, London and Reading.
Charlton House took over the site in Hemel Hempstead this week and a team of 12 will manage breakfast, lunch and hospitality services for 577 Steria employees. The new contract emcompassing all seven sites will run for four years.
Caroline Fry, managing director of Charlton House, described winning the additional site as the "icing on the cake" and said it is a true reflection of the firm's quality standards, client relations and commitment to delivering on promises.
"To develop business on the strength of existing performance is a real vote of confidence in our staff and in our way of doing of business," she added. "We work very hard to place quality at the centre of everything we do so the four-year retention is a fantastic affirmation of that."
Charlton House plan to introduce their ‘Naturally Good' concept across all of the sites, catering for 1,500 people in total.
