Foodservice and event catering company Fare of London has appointed Chris Wayland as deputy operations director.
Wayland will oversee the organisation's foodservice operations across all client venues, supporting the operations director Richard Kinder.
Having worked for many years as a foodservice consultant, Wayland will also support the marketing and business strategies. He previously worked as an executive chef for Compass Group at venues including Somerset House and Hatfield House.
Wayland said: "I'm delighted to join the team here at Fare of London. I'm very passionate about the industry and the work that Fare of London does and I'm thrilled to be joining at such an exciting time for the organisation in its 25th year."
John Durden, Fare of London's managing director, added: "We're so pleased to be welcoming Chris on board. We've enjoyed an outstanding period of growth so far in 2015 and it's great to be expanding our team and focusing on the smooth running of our day-to-day operations."
