Pabulum celebrates fifth win in past month with a £1m deal
Ethical caterer Pabulum has announced a new education contract worth almost £1m, its fifth win in the last month.
The seven-year deal at Costello Technology College in Basingstoke is worth £138,000 a year and sees Pabulum serve school meals to around 1,000 students from this term.
Head teacher Julia Mortimore said: "Not only does Pabulum provide delicious meals, sustainably sourced from local, fresh ingredients, but their business approach is exactly what we were looking for - someone with whom we can build a long-standing, collaborative partnership."
Huw Griffiths, the operations manager responsible for the new contract, added: "We work hard to develop strong working partnerships with all our customers and this is particularly relevant in the education sector where the success of a relationship is built on gaining positive support from so many different stakeholders."
Recent education contract wins include a £700,000 deal with two Cambridgeshire schools; a three-year deal at Coopers Technology College in Kent worth £825,000; and a £1m catering deal in Weston-super-Mare.
