The five-star, 260-bedroom Sheraton Grand hotel & Spa in Edinburgh has promoted Andrew Henning to executive assistant manager. His previous role was director of food and beverage at the same property.

Hartham Park in Wiltshire has appointed Franco Campioni as its new general manager. He joins the business park from the four-star Manor House in Castle Combe, Wiltshire, where he worked as operations manager.

Gamble

Boutique hotel chain Malmaison has promoted Nick Gamble to operations director. His previous role was general manager of the 97-bedroom Malmaison Charterhouse Square in London.

Paul Boyce is the new general manager of the 97-bedroom Malmaison Charterhouse Square in London. He moves up from his post of operations manager at the same hotel.

Seamus Cohen is the new general manager of the four-star, 116-bedroom Malmaison Newcastle hotel. He joins the company from his position as general manager of the four-star, 191-bedroom Jurys Bristol hotel, where he worked from June 2002.

The Village Hotel & Leisure Club in Walsall has appointed Tony Sendur as restaurant and café manager. He joins the 125-bedroom property from the Eaton hotel and restaurant in Birmingham. The hotel, which is due to open on 13 December, has a 144-seat restaurant, a 120-seat pub, and 14 banqueting/conference rooms.

Neilan

Darren Neilan has been promoted to assistant restaurant manager at One-O-One in Knightsbridge. He started at the restaurant in 2002 as chef de rang but has since moved up through the ranks. He will now lead a team of 18 at the 70-seat site.

Lyth

Contract caterer Eurest Criminal Justice (ECJ) has promoted Tracey Lyth to the position of operations director. She moves up from her previous position as retail sales executive for Compass Group's government services division, which operates ECJ.

Hospitality and foodservice company Delaware North Companies (UK) has appointed Stephen Wheeler executive chef for the new Wembley stadium. He moves from his position at the five-star, 227-bedroom Grove hotel in Hertfordshire, which was awarded AA Hotel of the year 2004.

Barnes

John Barnes has been appointed non-executive director of brewer Hardys & Hansons. Barnes, who is the second non-executive director to be appointed to the board, will continue as non-executive chairman of Caffe Nero Group, Arena Leisure and Interior Services Group.
