Pieminster to open third London site

British pie-maker Pieminster has announced the acquisition of a third London site, taking the total number of shops to eight.

The company, founded in 2003 by Bristol-based entrepreneurs Jon Simon and Tristan Hogg, has bought the lease to the former Le Regal café in London's Leather Lane.

Pieminster, which has three sites in Bristol as well as two in London, one in Stoke-on-Trent and one in Oxford, also supplies its pies to restaurants, pubs, retailers and festivals.

Property agent Christie + Co negotiated the sale and its head of restaurants Simon Chaplin said: "Leather Lane, situated as it is in the heart of a busy commercial area and with the world-renowned jewellery quarter Hatton Garden on its doorstep, is ideal for Jon and Tristan to further exploit the unique Pieminister brand."
