Sodexo Prestige in Scotland has won a lucrative conference and banqueting contract at Freemasons' Hall in Edinburgh.
The three-year deal, which has a six-figure value, will see Sodexo Prestige assume responsibility for promoting and selling the venue on George Street.
Austin Tilsley, regional director for Sodexo Prestige in Scotland, said: "This is an exciting opportunity to work with the client to develop the venue and put it on the map as one of Edinburgh's leading events sites."
The complex consists of two halls, a grand committee room, a museum and library, and other committee rooms. The grand hall can host dinners for 240 people and receptions for 400 people, while drinks receptions for up to 500 people can be held using the various rooms.
David Begg, grand secretary of the complex, said: "I am looking forward to working with Prestige Scotland at Freemasons' Hall. They proved themselves through the tendering process to be the market leaders in Edinburgh with the drive, operational excellence and robust sales team which I trust will assist us to grow and develop the potential of the building in the coming years."
