Springboard calls for entries to the ArcelorMittal Orbit Autumn Abseil

Anyone with a head for heights is invited to join the UK's highest freefall abseil to raise money for Springboard charity.

The ‘ArcelorMittal Orbit Autumn Abseil' event on 29 September will see participants abseil off the UK's tallest sculpture at 262 ft in London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Funds raised will go towards the Springboard charity, which helps people find employment in the hospitality, leisure and tourism industry.

Last year the event raised over £10,000 for Springboard.

Companies, groups and individuals can sign up, with each participant required to pay a £60 plus VAT registration fee to take part and raise £180 in sponsorship. Sign up at springboard.uk.net/events
