Two Duchy Catering directors take redundancy

Duchy Catering, the contract caterer acquired by Graysons Restaurants in January, has confirmed two redundancies as a result.

David Houslander and Emma Towers, Duchy operations director and finance director respectively, have now left the company.

Rowena Edwards, Graysons chief executive at Graysons, confirmed the restructure: "Two members of the Duchy management team have taken redundancy.

"It was natural evolution as a result of Graysons' acquisition of Duchy in January. As the two companies were integrated there was a restructure."

Graysons have also announced a newcomer to the team, with Amanda Hanslip joining as HR manager from Compass group.

In her new role, which began in June, Hanslip will lead the company's business strategy.

The acquisition by Graysons followed cash flow problems at Duchy which had put the company into administration.
