The course offers theoretical and practical learning on all aspects of being a butler from housekeeping to storage of fine wines. It wasn't long before Crosier's abilities impressed the management at London's iconic Savoy Hotel offered him work as a butler, and has been in the role since March 2011.

Crosier role as butler includes working for a number of A-list celebrities and wealthy clients from around the world and is responsible for delivering high quality service to the hotel's guests and receives positive feedback from his famous guests.

Commenting on Crosier's win, Patricia Paskins, hospitality lecturer at the University's London School of Hospitality and Tourism, said:

‘I am delighted for Jody and I'm really pleased about the effort and dedication that he has shown throughout his studies. The Butlers' Diploma is an important launchpad into this industry and I am glad to see Jody utilising all the opportunities available to him at the University.'
