Corinthia Hotels makes three new appointments including London GM
Corinthia Hotels has announced three new appointments, including the promotion of Renaud Gregoire (pictured) to general manager of flagship London property Corinthia London.
Previous general manager Matthew Dixon has now become group commercial director for the company, while Mirko Cattini will take over Gregoire's previous role as hotel manager for the same hotel.
Having joined the 294-bedroom, five-star London property in 2012, Gregoire has also worked as director of food and beverage at the Dorchester, and at 45 Park Lane, from 2009 to 2012. He was resident manager at the Fairmont Cairo from 2008 to 2009, and director of food and beverage at Claridge's in London.
Dixon's new role will be based in London, but will also include responsibility for all nine of the group's hotels in London, Portugal, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Malta, Russia and Africa. Before joining Corinthia he was general manager at golf resort the Grove, Hertfordshire, and has also had senior management positions at the Savoy Group, Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong, the Balmoral in Edinburgh, and Brown's in London.
Cattini joins from his role as executive assistant manager, food and beverage, at the Shangri-La Singapore. He has also worked at the Shangri-La in Cebu and Bangkok, and the Taj President in Mumbai. He started his career in 2003 as bar manager at the Berkeley hotel London.
The Corinthia Hotel London includes the Northall restaurant, Massimo Restaurant and Bassoon Bar. Owned by International Hotel Investments (IHI), the Corinthia Hotels collection was established in 1968 by the Pisani family in Malta.
