A native New Yorker and veteran of Daniel Boulud's restaurant group, Juan Ramirez has been appointed general manager at Bar Boulud London at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park. Ramirez was restaurant manager in 2008 for the opening of Bar Boulud New York, before joining the London team in May 2010. After completing the management training programme at the Tribeca Grill restaurant in Manhattan, he went on to become restaurant manager and assistant sommelier.
