L'Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa named Hand Picked Hotels' hotel of the year

Hand Picked Hotels has named L'Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa in Jersey, as its hotel of the year in recognition of the property's outstanding performance in 2015.

Located overlooking St Brelade's Bay, the four-AA-silver-star, 106-bedroom hotel achieved the highest guest satisfaction scores among the 20-strong Hand Picked Hotels collection, alongside a substantial increase in overall employee satisfaction and excellent sales and profit growth during the year.

Julia Hands, chairman and chief executive of Hand Picked Hotels, paid tribute to the hotel team, led by general manager Simon Miller. "The guest feedback was excellent, with exceptionally positive comments about the team, service and the overall experience. Simon and his team have been outstanding."

Miller added: "This is a truly fantastic achievement and testament to the hard work and focus put in by everyone in the team throughout 2015."

L'Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa is located within a Victorian beachside property, which features two restaurants, including the two-AA-rosette Grill and the Atlantic Room; and a spa and health club, with a gym, indoor swimming pool, and six treatment rooms.
