London revpar rises by nearly 9%
London hotels saw revenue per available room (revpar) grow by 8.9% in the week ending 3 June, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
Revpar increased to £93.97, up from £86.30 during the equivalent week of 2006.
Occupancy dropped by 1.7 percentage points to 73% while average room rate rose by 11.4% to £128.78, compared with £115.62 in the corresponding week of 2006.
