St Pancras Renaissance hotel names new general manager
Anne Legrand has been named general manager of the five-star, 245-bedroom St Pancras Renaissance hotel, taking over from Gareth Banner.
Banner left to explore an as yet unannounced new venture, to be replaced by Legrand who moves from the Marriott Paris Champs Elysées hotel.
A graduate from La Sorbonne University, Legrand headed up the Courtyard by Marriott Paris Neuilly between 2002 and 2006 after which she was general manager the Renaissance Paris Vendôme hotel. She led the Renaissance Paris Le Parc Trocadero hotel from May 2011 before taking on the Marriott Paris Champs Elysées.
Legrans said that it was a privilege to be joining the hotel, which opened in 2011.
"Since opening five years ago, the local King's Cross area, has seen significant changes and is now one of London's most exciting neighbourhoods providing our guests with a wealth of cultural institutions, shops, bars and restaurants to enjoy," she added.
"I am thrilled to be leading the team as we work with local partners to further enhance the guest experience and ensure the hotel remains ahead of the both local and international competition."
