London hotels saw revenue per available room (revpar) fall by 8% in the week ending 30 December, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
Revpar dropped to £61.35, down from £66.65 during the equivalent week of 2006.
Occupancy declined by 7.4 percentage points to 54.9% while average room rate increased by 4.4% to £111.73 compared with £107.04 in the corresponding week of 2006.
