Glasgow-based steak restaurant Alston Bar and Beef is to launch its second venue in Manchester's Corn Exchange this year.
The 160-cover, 6,500sq ft venue has undergone refurbishment following a £2m investment from owners Glendola Leisure.
Alston Bar and Beef will be the first venue in Manchester to offer Tweed Valley steak on its menu a 35-day dry-hung steak which will be seasoned and cooked in a Montague oven which can reaches temperatures of 600 degrees.
At the bar, a selection of 58 gins will be available, including Manchester Three Rivers and Manchester Gin.
Alex Salussolia, managing director of Glendola Leisure said: "Having seen such success in Glasgow, we're confident that Alston Bar and Beef will make the perfect addition to the Manchester food and drink scene when we open our doors this Autumn.
"We have big plans to transform the space at the Corn Exchange into a welcoming environment that will provide the perfect back drop for people to come and enjoy the best gin and steak on offer in Manchester."
The first Alston Bar and Beef opened in 2014. This will be the first venture outside of Scotland for the brand.
