Caprice Holdings to open Mayfair deli in May
Caprice Holdings has unveiled details of its first retail outlet, the Mount Street Deli, which will launch in Mayfair later this month.
Set to open on 24 May, the deli, which will comprise a shop and 16-seat eating area, will offer specialist foods as well as signature dishes from Caprice Holdings' London restaurants and private members' clubs.
Open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, the menu will be overseen by head chef Mary Lewis, who has created a selection of dishes inspired by the menus of nearby Scott's and Le Caprice as well as private members' clubs George, Mark's, Annabel's and Harry's Bar.
The Mount Street Deli, which will be open from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and from 9am to 6pm on Saturday, will be managed by Hannah Gutteridge. It will sell products from across Italy and Great Britain, with a strong focus on provenance and seasonality.
Interiors have been designed by Martin Brudnizki, whose other projects within Caprice Holdings have included Scott's and Le Caprice New York.
Des McDonald, chief executive officer of Caprice Holdings, commented: "The Mount Street deli is naturally a very exciting new venture for us as it is our first retail channel within the group.
"We hope it will cater for the many different food enthusiasts in the area - be they members of the clubs, regulars to our restaurants, residents, Mayfair employees or simply passers by."
