Cavaliere moves to Cecconi's

Soho House-owned Italian restaurant Cecconi's in London's Burlington Gardens is to get a new chef and undergo a major refurbishment.

The restaurant will reopen after its two-month revamp on 12 September with Andrea Cavaliere, formerly head chef at Covent Garden's Neal Street restaurant, taking over the kitchen.

The space is being redesigned by Ilse Crawford and will now open from 7am to 1am daily, except Sundays when it will open 8am to 12.30pm.

Menus will remain focused on classic Italian food, but a new menu of cichetti, or Venetian tapas, is going to be served from a dedicated bar on the restaurant floor.

There will also be all-day tea and brunch menus as well as extensive cocktail and wine lists.
