Channel 5 seeks restaurant couples for Marco Pierre White TV show

Channel 5 is looking for couples who run restaurants to participate in a new, and as-yet-unnamed TV show fronted by Marco Pierre White (pictured).

The TV channel said it wanted pairs who run restaurants across the UK, from fine-dining establishments to gastropubs, cafés, bistros, hotels, curry houses and "anything in between".

Pairs can be related, married, partners or just friends. "Whether you're the chef or run the front of house, if you have a working relationship which is hard to beat then we want to hear from you," a flier for the show said.

Although there were few details on the show itself, it is expected to take a competition format, testing participants' culinary skills and teamwork.

To apply to the show, e-mail restaurant@five.tv or call 0207 308 5454 to get an application sent through the post.

Channel 5 did not give a specific deadline for entries but said that those who applied quickly were more likely to find a place on the show.
