John Nugent, the former chief executive of caterer Searcy, has unveiled details of his venture at Kings Place in central London.
Green & Fortune, which will open in October, will comprise a café, bar and restaurant as well as several private dining spaces, opposite King's Cross rail station.
The project will include a 60-seat atrium café in the central hub at the entrance of the Kings Place building, serving an all-day self-service menu.
It will also include the Rotunda Bar, which will accommodate up to 120, with al fresco seating for a further 100; and the Rotunda restaurant, which will serve modern British cuisine and seat up to 70 people.
Nugent told Caterersearch that King's Cross is an up and coming area that presents "huge potential" for a business to build.
"It has a broad customer base and a wonderful opportunity to do something very innovative and interesting."
Nugent left Searcy, where he oversaw the launch of outlets including the Gherkin and St Pancras station, last summer to look for a new challenge.
