Galvin at Windows to trial Michelin-starred delivery service with Deliveroo

Michelin-starred restaurant Galvin at Windows has launched a delivery service through Deliveroo, offering diners a £35 set meal.

The service will initially run for the duration of October, having started this week, with diners offered a three-course menu with two choices from each.

Options include a starter of cured Loch Fyne salmon, Dorset crab, avocado purée and fennel compote; a main course of braised short rib of Scotch beef, pomme purée, vegetable and red wine jus; and desserts of caramelised apple tart, frangipane and vanilla custard or a selection of seasonal cheeses.

Galvin at Windows restaurant manager Andrew Sicklin said: "We are looking forward to offering customers the opportunity to experience our cuisine in a brand new environment and hope that this will give even more people the opportunity to experience what Galvin at Windows has to offer."

Nick Green from Deliveroo added that the menu had been specially created to cope with the rigours of transportation.

He said: "Galvin at Windows is famous for its high quality food and we're confident that this collaboration will be a huge hit with our customers - elevating date night to the next level."

Dishes will be available to pre-order for lunch or dinner.
