Just Falafel announces charity partnership at flagship site

Just Falafel has opened its first company-owned restaurant, at Fulham Broadway in London.

The restaurant group has also announced a partnership with charity West London Action for Children. It has pledged to donate 5p from every wrap sold until the end of December 2013 to the charity.

Just Falafel UK & Ireland chief executive Michael Biggins said: "We are delighted to be working with West London Action for Children as our official charity partner for 7 Fulham Broadway. The charity works with vulnerable children and families in the local area, which is a cause that we feel is hugely significant for the local community and our customers."

West London Action for Children supports families under stress and offers a range of counselling and therapy services for children.

Its chief executive Heather Boxer said: "We're thrilled that Just Falafel has chosen us to be their local charity partner. Funds raised from the ‘5p from every wrap' donation will be directed not only to seasonal activity for children and families, but to outreach for the most vulnerable in the community at time of the year which can be difficult and isolating."

The Fulham Broadway restaurant opened on 17 December offering a range of fresh falafel wraps, soups, salads, sides, dips, drinks and breakfast.
