Koh Thai Tapas secures ninth restaurant
Thai restaurant group Koh Thai Tapas has secured a new site for a restaurant in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
The venue will be the group's ninth overall and will also be one of the brand's larger sites, with over 140 covers, a bar lounge and private dining rooms.
The company said it remained committed to its aim of opening 23 sites by 2018 and a total of 30 by 2020.
The business has already opened a new head office to help it through the next phase of its growth. It plans to open three to four restaurants per year under its two brands - Koh Thai Tapas, and the smaller Koh Noi Thai tapas bars, which typically accommodate 50 covers.
Co-founder and CEO Andrew Lennox said: "Salisbury is a fantastic addition to our group and we have been working hard to secure the right site. Salisbury is an important town for us and we have a great fanbase there who regularly travel to our Bournemouth and Ringwood sites. We have seen a phenomenal response already to the rumours we might be opening in the town. We looking forward to welcoming the people of Salisbury."
