Las Iguanas reveals more details on Norwich site
Latin-American-inspired restaurant and bar group Las Iguanas has announced more details of its soon-to-open Norwich site.
Set to open its doors on 10 November, the 200-cover location will be set within the Riverside Leisure Park, and will include an open kitchen, bar area, upstairs sun deck and downstairs piazza space.
Created by B3, the décor has been designed to consciously evoke the colours and atmosphere of Latin America, including reclaimed materials, bright colours such as "coral, sage and mustard", plus vintage Latin-style artwork and tiling.
The brand also has an extensive drinks list, including cocktails based on the traditional classics of margaritas and caipirinhas, plus mescal, wine, beers, and punches.
General manager Jimmy Prado Sanchez, who previously ran Las Iguanas' development kitchen branch in Clifton, Bristol, said: "We are very excited about welcoming the people of Norwich. We're thrilled to have secured a site in the busy Riverside Leisure Park."
The leisure park also includes restaurant groups Chiquito, TGI Friday's, Bella Italia, Coast to Coast, Frankie & Benny's, and Pizza Hut. The leisure park also includes a cinema and a bowling alley.
The opening is the latest in a new expansion drive from Las Iguanas, which was founded in 1991. The brand, which runs to over 35 sites, most recently announced plans to open in retail and leisure centre Woking Shopping. Its other recent openings have included Derby in October, and a new Edinburgh venue in September.
