Liverpool One signs up Byron and Brown's
Burger chain Byron and all-day brasserie concept Brown's are set to open restaurants at Liverpool One this spring.
Byron will open its first restaurant in the North-west, with Brown's opening its second in the region but its first in Liverpool.
Commenting on the news, Miles Dunnett, head of asset management, Grosvenor Liverpool Fund, said: "Byron and Brown's are fantastic additions to Liverpool One's line-up of leading dining brands. They provide even more choice, enhance Liverpool One's premium offer, and further increase its appeal for visitors living in the expanding outer catchment."
Tom Byng, founder of Byron, added: "As the starting point for our growth in the north of the country, Liverpool One is perfect. Byron will be in very good company."
The news follows a successful Christmas for Liverpool One, with sales up 7% over the Christmas period, compared with the same time last year, and 5% for the year-on-year as a whole. Footfall for the year exceeded 26 million for the first time.
Cushman and Wakefield and Tushingham Moore acted for Liverpool One.
