Liverpool restaurateurs Gary and Colin Manning to open deli
Liverpool restaurateurs Gary and Colin Manning are to expand their Quarter restaurant in the city by adding a deli next year.
The Quarter Kitchen, which will sit alongside the Quarter, will be the brothers' fourth business in Liverpool's Hope Street area after their flagship 60 Hope Street restaurant and Host.
It will add a retail element to what is currently offered at the restaurant, allowing diners to buy the ingredients used in the kitchen.
The Quarter Kitchen will stock deli produce from local suppliers hand picked by the Mannings such as speciality meats, preserves, cheeses and breads and will offer a takeaway menu of salads and sandwiches.
The Quarter will also be expanded with capacity for 40 extra covers and will see substantial investment to the kitchen's size and facilities.
Gary Manning said: "We understand the positive impact our business has on the local community in the Hope Street area, that's why we have an ongoing commitment to job creation and investment to the area.
"The Quarter is an extremely popular destination and the addition of The Quarter Kitchen will add another string to our bow and further boost our expansion and investment plans."
