Yo! Sushi to open two more sites

Sushi chain Yo! Sushi is to open two more restaurants, taking its total number of sites to 61.

The company will open its 60th restaurant in London's Camden, and its 61st in the Drake Circus shopping centre in Plymouth.

Both will open days apart from the 15th anniversary year of the Yo! Sushi brand.

The Camden site on Jamestown Road will be the 25th London site. The Plymouth site is the city's first and will accommodate 64 covers, split between 30 booth seats and 34 stools, over 140sq m.

Robin Rowland, chief executive of Yo! Sushi said: "Celebrating 15 fantastic years on the restaurant scene, the opening of two new Yo! Sushi restaurants in two very diverse regions of the country provides further confirmation of the UK public's ever-increasing demand for sushi. Although already home to thriving restaurant communities in and around both Camden and Plymouth, we have seen a further gap in the market, offering us the unique opportunity to cater to the demand for our unique mix of fun, fast and fresh Japanese food and cutting-edge restaurant design."
