Bibendum extends training programme to spirits

Drinks supplier Bibendum Wine has expanded its on-trade training programmes to include spirits.

The new course, run by Will Lowe, will provide product knowledge and practical skills to restaurant and bar managers who lack a specialist mixologist, helping them to boost sales and better serve customers.

The course covers subjects such as the science and methods of distillation; overviews of vodka, gin, whisky and cognac; food and digestif matching; identifying sales opportunities; and advising consumers.
