Halogen Energy Saver bulbs from Oliver Lamps

Family-run Oliver Lamps - which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year - has launched two Halogen Energy Saver lamps that combine the benefits of incandescent and halogen lamps but save 30% in energy costs.
Available in GLS (28W, 42W and 60W) and 35mm candle (28W, 42W) versions, the lights last twice as long as ordinary bulbs (with a guaranteed life of 2,000 hours), create 20% more light, and provide an instant, flicker-free light with no warm-up time. This remains consistent throughout the bulb's life.
The GLS bulb comes in a clear and pearl finish and the candle with a clear and frosted appearance. Both can be used with dimmers, electronic switches, photocells, timing devices and sensors.
