New Forest Ice Cream's Key Lime Pie Dairy Ice Cream has been entered in the Ice Creams section of Caterer's Excellence in Food and Drink Awards 2009.
A true dairy ice cream, Key Lime Pie flavour is made from locally sourced fresh, full fat Jersey milk and double cream. A zingy lime curd sauce is rippled through the ice cream, providing a perfect foil to the crunchy shortcake biscuit pieces.
The result is a rich, creamy ice cream, with a delicate flavour and colour which offers a luscious and unusual dessert choice.
