Recipe: Punch and red wine reduction cocktail
City Social has created the perfect answer to the mulled wine with a milk-clarified punch and a pipette of red wine reduction

To make the punch mix
- 700ml Woodford Reserve
- 350ml Saccharum clementine
- 280ml lemon juice
- 165ml whole milk
Combine all the ingredients except the milk. Pour into a container, add the milk and let it sit for 30 minutes. Double-strain the mix with blue cloth and decant into a bottle.
To make the Saccharum clementine
- 20 clementine peels
- 1kg sugar
Combine the ingredients in a sealed container and let them sit for 24 hours.
To make the red wine reduction
- 500ml La Guerre de Bouchons
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 3 star anise
- 5 clementine peels
- 75ml sugar syrup
Combine the ingredients except the sugar in a saucepan and heat for three minutes. Add the sugar and cook for another minute.
To make the cocktail
- 55ml punch mix
- 3ml red wine reduction
Double strain the punch mix and pour into a bodega glass with an ice block. Serve the red wine reduction in a pipette on the side.
