The mechanical stresses on shelving units are influenced by several factors including exposure to extreme temperatures - both in the kitchen and refrigerated storage areas - and constant pressure from the weight of the equipment it holds, as well as the daily wear and tear.
This is the first ever shelving of its kind to be made from 'composite' materials, which is as strong as steel, but has little deflection - This means it will return to its original shape after products are removed from the shelves. Our longest shelf span is 1980mm which has a single shelf capacity of 272kg.
Unlike most other space-saving shelving units that will eventually surrender to the various environmental and day-to-day strains of life in kitchens, Camshelving® Elements Series guarantees unending durability with a lifetime warranty against corrosion and rust.
The adjustable units can withstand temperatures as cold as -38ÌŠC, or as hot as 88ÌŠC. Their complete resistance to moisture and corrosion make them an ideal storage solution for wet, dry, cold, or hot environments, including freezers, coolers and washing areas. Shelf plates can be easily removed for thorough dishwasher cleaning and Elements won't peel, dent, or even warp and is impervious to chemicals - all of which make it extremely hygienic.
Adhering to and maintaining the strictest hygiene standards in the kitchen is essential. Elements' Camguard® Antimicrobial protection is permanently embedded into each plate, so it will not scratch, scrape off, wash off or wear out. Easy to assemble and configure, the Camshelving® units work in a very unique way. Made up of different parts, it sees a stationary unit acting as an anchor for the entire system. Mobile units, which have either vented or solid shelves, then run along a raised track. The mobility comes from the shelf cases running on grooved casters, allowing them to roll easily and securely. Mobile units with heavy weight loads still roll smoothly.
No bolts, or drilling is required when laying down the track, in fact it simply connects to the bottom of the stationary Camshelving® unit. Both the aluminium track and the stainless steel hardware for the shelving are non-corrosive.
