Fare of London wins £3m Farmers and Fletchers Hall contract
Foodservice and event catering company Fare of London has won a five-year deal at Farmers and Fletchers Hall worth around £3m.
The contract was awarded following a competitive tender process during which the caterer said it demonstrated its bespoke menus and track record for customer service.
Fare of London has also been tasked with supporting the London livery hall with reactive sales and hall management in a bid to drive the events business.
The venue, which has recently undergone extensive refurbishment work, is set to reopen in June, with new event spaces and enhanced facilities made available for a range of events, including conferences, meetings and training events along with special occasion parties and weddings.
Julian Sayers from the Worshipful Company of Farmers commented: "We chose to appoint Fare of London because of their dedication to British produce. Its recently launched Forgotten Fare campaign is an illustration of the company's dedication to support artisan producers and local farmers and food suppliers.
"For obvious reasons, we have to uphold the most ethical support of British farmers and food suppliers and we felt that Fare of London, given its track record of British food sourcing, would offer the right quality of catering that we require in order to sustain this reputation moving forward."
Fare of London managing director John Durden added: "The team are very excited to be working with Farmers and Fletchers Hall to support business growth and offer bespoke seasonal menus which represent the ethos of their farming industry heritage."
Fare of London recently launched its Forgotten Fare campaign as it marked the company's 25th year. The campaign aims to highlight heritage UK foods, raising the profile of forgotten foods and will see the company working with regional food suppliers, farmers and artisan food producers.
