Steven Gerrard-backed Vincent Café to open this month
Paul Adams' Vincent Café and Cocktail Bar in Liverpool is set to open on 22 June.
Adams is also the owner of the Vincent hotel in Southport on Merseyside and was previously the owner of the now-closed Warehouse restaurant, also in Southport.
Open all day, the new 190-cover, 6,000 sq ft venue is backed by footballer Steven Gerrard, who also helped back the Warehouse from 2010 to 2014.
It will serve a British-international menu designed to appeal throughout the day, including snacks, a £9.95 quick lunch, afternoon tea, and a la carte evening menu. There will also be an extensive drinks list, including cocktails in the evening, and the so-called ‘gringo sushi', a meat alternative to the fish classic.
A guest pianist will perform on Sundays, and there will also be a 16-seat private meeting area with a 60-inch television screen, and presentation technology.
Adams' most recent project was the Warehouse restaurant relaunch, which saw chef Matt Worswick (Michelin star winner for Glenapp Castle, 2013; Acorn award winner 2014) take over the menu in March 2014. The restaurant closed in April 2014, with Worswick moving to Thornton Hall in November.
Adams still owns and runs the Vincent hotel, which has its own sushi bar and café.
